Light duty device for convenient quick clean ups. It is not a replacement for a gas blower. – I live on the east coast where trees drop lots of leaves and it’s necessary to pay a landscaper to clear my property every autumn. Owning any blower makes quick work of touch ups for a patio, deck, or garage. I own a traditional 2-cycle gasoline powered backpack blower and while I must confess that the gas engines (used by landscapers and home owners alike) offer the convenience of extended running times and significantly more power, they are also heavy, noisy, and smelly. Mixing fuel with oil and starting up a gas powered back pack blower takes time and leaves your clothing (and in my case – the garage) smelling like unburned fuel. Enter the electric blower. No cords to fuss with and no fuel to mix. Minimal noise. Light weight and compact. Very convenient for blowing out your garage. Besides, the neighbors can sleep and not listen to the drone of the gas engine if you choose to use it on weekend mornings. Best of all, you don’t smell like you just took a bath in used motor oil (if you ever changed the oil in your own car you will know what I am talking about).

Ok blower – Nice unit. Much more powerful than the 20v I used to have. Black and Decker products do t have the longevity they once did. I had my first Black and Decker cordless trimmer for about five years. Lately I’m lucky their product lasts two.

you get what you pay for….. – low air flow, but good for small work.

Much better than a broom – Faster, better sweeping and just as ready to go as a standard broom for outside or garage use.

Worthwhile but should be redesigned to be quieter, have less vibrations, a better handle and provide more airflow – Pros – much longer battery life and slightly more power and airflow than older 18V B&D sweeper (NS118); variable power; cons aren’t so bad after a few uses
D. D (verified owner) –
Good for blowing leaves – This really saves me from raking leaves.
