Not as good as OEM – It is compatible with the OEM wheel but it is not the same. The material is similar but harder than the OEM part. It has a tendency to skid more than the original OEM wheel at wooden floor edge trim.

Not Plug-n-Play – On the first wheel of my iRobot S9+, I gently released the adhesive and cut with a razor each tire mold plug into the wheel and removed the tire in one piece. This took longer and was more cumbersome that how I removed tire two. I scraped under tire two to release the adhesive sliced the tire width wise and pulled the tire off, pulling it off the wheel and cutting each molded plug as the wheel spun. The tire came off much easier this way especially since I don’t plan to reuse the tire. The new tires are a little difficult to put back on but I didn’t remove the wheel to save time and disassembly. You can fit the tire in the inside gap and rotate it into the wheel. I added a few spots of hot glue to avoid it spinning on the wheel as it ages. Will buy these again when my other two S9+ tires wear out.

They work! – Our Shark Ion rv871 was starting to act up. My husband’s first response is that we need a new one. My response was I’m not paying another $300 for a vacuum that lasts 2 years. So I bought all new parts (brushes, filters etc) plus these new wheel treads. I was hesitant when I took them out of the package because they looked huge. We watched the video on how to remove the wheel compartment, which was very helpful. I still was not sure the new treads were going to work because the wheels had hooks on them, but they ended up fitting fine. Now my vacuum is as good as new for $30 (all parts) versus $300 for a new one.

So much cheaper than buying a whole wheel – Getting the old one off was a little trying but once off the new ones just slipped on. There is a ridge so no gluing is necessary
