It’s noisy, the lights are dim….Updated review – I bought this and designed my entire stove hood around it, I installed it and opted to recirculate the fan versus cutting a hole in the side of the house that was not already there. The listing stated that you could do that and I tried on several occasions to find out from the seller What it was that I needed as far as what size charcoal filters I would need but they kept going in circles and giving me ridiculous responses. I also contacted the manufacturer and they gave me a size for the filter but when I responded to get further information as far as if I needed to have a screw hole in the middle or if it’s snapped on or what they did not respond. So basically I have a decorative vent hood LOL because the lights are useless, the fan makes so much noise that even if I had the right filters I wouldn’t use it anyway. I don’t in any way recommend this. Also the clock is upside down and backwards, what good is that? Why even have a clock?

Do not like the blue lights – This is a pretty insert and I like everything about it. It’s a little on the noisy side, but we have it venting outside and if it wasn’t so loud I’d think it wasn’t working. What we don’t like is that the lights are blue. Everything works as advertised, though I had to reach out to customer service to figure out how change the clock from military time. Their response time was excellent. This product did not include a template, which made installation more of a challenge. However, overall I am very satisfied with the result.
