Just pop it in! – A power surge after a blackout took out our 10 year old freezer. Sears repair service quoted us a price of over $600 for this replacement part! My husband found this on line, while I was looking on-line for a new freezer costing not much more than the part quote. The new freezers weren’t as nice as our current one, and there was a wait of several months for the model we would marginally accept. We ordered this part-not believing it could be so inexpensive and easy, and 5 days later, it arrived. Just pry out the old electronic unit using the edge of a metal spatula, etc., pop this one in- as simple as plugging in a night light, and our freezer immediately “powered up”!!!!! Problem solved!
