Freezes in the Fridge – Update: I tried to return, but missed the window. I wanted to give this thermostat a good chance to work before I returned. I tried it on all settings, trying combos of fridge and freezer settings attemping to achieve the correct balance so may food wouldnt freeze. I have lost $$$$ due to salad, vegetables, sour cream, cream, soft drinks, beer freezing. Dont bother with this item, save your money as it will cost you lots more money in the long run. Inaccurate and inconsistent!

It works – The metal brackets were not a perfect fit on my fridge but this has my fridge cooling again.

Perfect Replacement – This part was a replacement for wp2210491 from a Whirlpool ET1FHTXM004 refridgerator. It fit perfect. The refridgerator is a 2006 model. I couldn’t find the part anywhere. So far it works flawless. I replaced the circulating fan motor with a part from this dealer a few months ago, and it fit and worked perfectly. I feel lucky to have found this dealer as it’s kept me from having to spend hardly anything to keep this fridge running. As mentioned in the ad, there is a post on YouTube that shows exactly how to install this exact part. Just search -install (part number) refridgerator thermostat- and it pops right up. It was really easy, took me ten minutes.
